Hehehe. Cool.
Why’s it sad? I mean, the only reason mainstream society looks down on grown people doing role playing type stuff is that it’s not considered “adult” enough. So really it’s an ageist standard, even if kind of indirect.
Then again, looking closer at the picture, those two might be kids. Hard to tell.

Frankly they look like midgets, when you compare them to the size of the sidewalk/curb.
