Yesterday was my 5th Annual Superbowl party. Yay! As always there was a pretty good turnout, thanks everyone for coming! Jess & Doug get the award for longest distance traveled to come to one of my Superbowl parties, driving in from Pennslyvania. Thanks guys!

Once again our “pre-enactment” of the game was wrong. Roderick, my neighbor (in the red sweatshirt) was playing the Steelers on the Gamecube (his game) but got beat down by my Seahawks. It was my first time playing, I swear! At halftime I switched off with Marcus, but still the Steelers didn’t fare much better. Oh well

Roderick did win the first quarter in our squares game, so he left that day with a cool buck fitty profit. (I won the 2nd & 3rd quarters… I swear I didn’t rig it…).

It was a good time though, as always. Pizza, chips, veggies, grapes, and lots and lots of beer. None of my friends are really drunks (well maybe Rob), but for some reason everyone brought a huge amount of beer. *shrug*

I was mildly rooting for Seattle just because they haven’t won yet, but meh, whatever. Maybe next year. Not that any of us really watched the game all that intently. It was funny, everyone was talking and making jokes and such during the game, but once they broke for commercials everyone went quiet. Hehe, diehard football fans as you can tell.
